Ibrahim is a young mareyeur (the mediator between the fishermen and the international market) who is extremely worried about the growing shortage of fish in Senegal.

The documentary tells about the lives of mareyeurs and their importance within the Senegalese economy through Ibrahim’s eyes. He literally follows his boss everywhere hoping he would find him a new job in Italy. But during his long trip in Senegal, he starts having doubts about his idea of moving to Europe, he worries about how his life would change over there and he doesn’t want to leave his family.
