Eight young people on the autism spectrum set out toward a place that embodies their deepest fears: the forest.
In this mysterious and symbolic space, a festively laid table awaits them, unbeknownst to them. It becomes a moment of play and unexpected revelations.
The documentary attempts to capture a portrait of these elusive travelers — fortresses of an enduring childhood that is not a matter of age, but a state of the soul.
“Il non bimbo” celebrates the resilience, beauty, and strength of these guardians of our deepest human essence, offering a disarming reminder of how vital it is to preserve the poetry and purity that reside within each of us.
Filmmaker autodidatta. Da oltre quindici anni lavora nella comunicazione visiva e nell’ambito della formazione, tenendo numerosi laboratori di cinema per ragazzi in Italia. Dopo aver concluso gli studi classici e quelli del conservatorio si appassiona in un primo momento alla fotografia e solo successivamente al cinema, frequentando un workshop a cura di Giuseppe Lanci al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Ha lavorato a teatro realizzando video installazioni e come aiuto regia. La passione per il disegnare e animare la porta nel 2019 a dirigere la performance teatrale “Vagabondo delle stelle”, per il quale realizza appunto le animazioni che costituiranno il background dello spettacolo. Realizza diversi reportage e documentari tra cui Pratomagno (2018) regia di Paolo Martino e Gianfranco Bonadies, nel ruolo di direttore della fotografia e operatore. Ha girato e montato tanti spot, reportage e servizi giornalistici, campagne di sensibilizzazione, trailer cinematografici ed è stata responsabile della comunicazione di numerose rassegne artistiche. È responsabile del laboratorio di cinema per lo Human Festival.
Self-taught filmmaker. For over fifteen years, she has worked in visual communication and education, leading numerous film workshops for young people across Italy.
After completing her classical studies and graduating from the conservatory, she first developed a passion for photography and later for cinema, attending a workshop led by Giuseppe Lanci at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
She has worked in theater, creating video installations and assisting in stage direction.
Her passion for drawing and animation led her, in 2019, to direct the theater performance “Vagabondo delle stelle”, for which she created the animated backgrounds.
She has produced several reportages and documentaries, including Pratomagno (2018), directed by Paolo Martino and Gianfranco Bonadies, where she worked as director of photography and camera operator.
She has filmed and edited numerous commercials, reportages, news stories, awareness campaigns, and film trailers, and has been responsible for the communication of various artistic events.
She currently runs the film workshop for the Human Festival.
